Toxicological and analytical investigations of noni (Morinda citrifolia) fruit juice.
Westendorf J, Effenberger K, Iznaguen H, Basar S.

Noni juice was not mutagenic in a mammalian mutagenicity test with V79 Chinese hamster fibroblasts, did not induce DNA repair synthesis (UDS) in primary hepatocytes from rats fed the juice, and did not increase DNA adducts or DNA strand breaks. Noni juice did not contain anthraquinones at
a sensitivity level of <1 ppm. In summary, noni juice does not have genotoxic potential and does not contain genotoxic anthraquinones. (original abstract available at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17227089).
