Noni juice reduces lipid peroxidation–derived DNA adducts in heavy smokers.

In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial with two hundred forty-five heavy
cigarette smokers, drinking noni juice for one month significantly lowered lipid hydroperoxide and
malondialdehyde DNA adducts in peripheral blood lymphocytes. As such, noni juice mitigates oxidative damage of DNA in current heavy smokers. (available online at http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/fsn3.21/pdf).
